Infinite Line Coming to DS!

From Nude Maker, the team behind Steel Battalion!

Team has worked on some amazing games (God Hand, Phoenix Wright, Okami, even Clock Tower...)

Elite style po-faced experimental space-opera!

Shit-tonnes of buttons!

Unrelenting difficulty!

34/40 Famitsu score! (though it has to be said Famitsu is basically the Japanese Gamesmaster)

The DS is already my favourite console of all time. To be honest, this generation of home consoles is pretty awful, so it doesn't have much competion, but to see such original output when the industry seems to be churning out constant Doom clones and karaoke games and Doom clones and guitar games is nothing short of admirable. In fact, all the discerning games player needs this generation is

1: A DS to play exciting new games
2: A fairly powerful PC to emulate older games
3: A region modded PS2 to play some unemulated arcade fair and a frankly ridiculous back catalogue.

Of course, at some point The Last Guardian will come out, and the X360 seems to be the new PS2 when it comes to modern arcade ports (though like the PS2, 99% of the back catalogue is Doom clones and football games), but for now at least, I like the fact that all the new releases worth buying are handily on one console.
