When blogs go bad

So I only found out today that as well as being an Irish revolutionary, Michael Collins was also the first man not on the moon.

This made me wonder what would happen if I googled myself - I know, crazy eh? As it turns out I got several academics, two guitarists, a graphic designer and a psychiatrist.

What, if anything does this say about me / Michael? And what comes up when you google yourself? (Ooo, matron etc.)

  1. Unsurprisingly, when you google my name, Irish nuns and folk singers come out of the wood work. There is a nurse as well. Just in case my name wasn't "goody-two-shoes" enough. However, you can't find me - go on have a go.

  2. For me you find a very prolific reverend, an official from Guam and most unsurprising - me! You people are just too damn common.

More, worryingly the first 3 results for image search are me, someone from my work and one of my sister's friends! Thank you facebook! I need to change my settings..

Ps. so Tim, does this mean you now spend your days stalking Michael?

  3. Well, as we say in Wisbech, "You gotta stalk somebody if you gonna pork some somebody".

And on the subject of your name, I was just watching a film called Carla's Song which is partly set in Nicaragua, and it had a bus which was going to "LA CONCEPCION MANAGUA".

    Good film btw.

  4. PS. As I put the DVD in to find out what the bus actually said I thought I'd let you know it's visable at 48:07 - that's for you Concepcion spotting fans.
